I WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-6936 for Grading
andlSnrfacing HAZEL STRBET from Reaney Avenue to Fs. Seventh Street and BUSIi
AVE�IUE from Nokomis Avenue to Hazel Street, T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc.,
Conttractor, the specified date of completion is September 30, 1967, and
WHEREAS, The Contractor has pros�cuted the work dilfge�tly, but due
to �eather conditions it was not possible to coa�plete the seal coat until
Jun� of 1968; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby suthor-
ize�, and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the ti�e
of do�pletion to July 1, 1968, provided however, that this resolution shall
have� no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent
the�leto and file such consent in writing with the City Co�ptroller, and be it
�� FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim
for liquidated da�aages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this
��i proj�ect will be charged to the Cantractor for such extended period.
