1 Resolution in Support of Efforts fo obtain State and Federal Assistance for the Red Rock and Rush Line
2 Corridors
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is interested in meaningful efforts to increase transit throughout the metro area;
4 now, therefore be it
5 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul supports Ramsey County Regional Rail Authority (RCRRA) efforts to
6 obtain $1 million for bus improvements and park and ride facilities on the Rush Line Corridar; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul endorses the Metro Transitways Development Board and the
RCRRA in their request for reauthorization of the Rushline Transitway Corridor and an appropriation of $1 million
9 for use in park/ride, park/pool and bus improvements; and be it
10 FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul endorses the Metro Transitways Development Board and the
11 RCRRA's requests for state bonding for the Red Rock Trans9tway Conidor and their federal request for
12 reauthorization of the Red Rock Transitway Corridor and an appropriation of $1 million for use in preliminary
13 engineering.
