Noti e is hereby given that the Council of the Cfty of St. Paul wfll
hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and
Cour Houae at 10:00 a.m. on May 7, 1969 on the
advi ability of proceeding with Prelimfnary Order 242675 ,
appr ed March 18, 1969 , which proposes to:
recon truct the sidewalk on the south side of Scheffer Avenue from
Cleve�.and Avenue to Cretin Avenue

whict�, fs necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except
wher�' it is determined that good and sufficient poured sidewalka exist.
The stimated cost thereof is $3.50 per lineal foot for a standard
sid lk 5 feet wide and $4.20 per lineal foot for a atandard sidewalk
6 fe t wide.
In adjdition to the above, charges will be made for extra work which
is a articular benefit to the abutting property, such as tree removal,
poure concrete removal, driveways, and additional width of walks, based
on th annual sidewalk contract prices on file in the Departmeat of
Publi Works.

Chamb rs at 9:30 a.m., on the same day if you wish detailed infonaatioa
regar ing the proposed sidewalk construction, or phone the sidewa2k
depar ent prior to the day of the hearing at 223-4255.
