WHEREAS, Ben M. Melquist has requested permission to
connect his homestead at 1545 West Hoyt Avenue, Falcon
Heights, the same being the West twelve (W. 12) feet of Lot
3 and the East forty—four (E.44) feet of Lot 2, Block 8,
Northome 2nd Addition, Ramsey Gounty, Minnesota, to the
sewer system of the City of Saint Paul, in Hoyt Avenue, for
the disposal of sanitary sewage, and regulating the condi—
��j tions thereof; and
WHEREAS, The connection of his homestead to the sewer
system of the City of Saint Paul as soon as possible is a
matter of extreme urgency and necessity to said Ben M.
Melquist; and
WHEREAS, An ordinance, C. F. No. 243��� granting
permission to said Ben M. Melquist to proceed with the
connection of his home.stead to the sewer system of the City
of Saint Paul has been prepared and introduced to the Council
of the City of Saint Paul on May 1 , 1969, and
has been read before the City Council, with eventual adoption
set to occur on. May 16 , 1969; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVEl7, That in view of the extreme urgency of the
request, the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to issue a permit to Ben M. Melquist for the
connection of his homestead to the sewer system of the City of
Saint Paul , in Hoyt Avenue, for the disposal of sanitary sewage,
an.d regulating the conditions thereof, subject to the same
conditions �����ements as set out in the ordinance,
C. F. No. � , pending before the Council of the City
of Saint Paul , informal approval of said connection being hereby
given in anticipation of the final adoption of said ordinance.
