To the Honorable Mayor
and Council of the City
of Saint Paul
Gentlemen:
The Land Committee, in session on this date, reviewed
the request of D. Michael Noonan, Attorney for Frank Hay, Jr.
and Laura M. Hay, for a Quit Claim Deed from the City of
Saint Paul for the Cityfs interest to the following:
An easement for construction purposes on
a strip of land 8 feet in width on the
west side of and adjacent to the easterly
4 feet of Lot 19, Block 4, Wessel's
Addition, from Surburban Avenue to the
alley in the rear of said lot.
Said easement was condemned for the purpose of construc-
ting a public sewer on, under and across Lot 19, Block 4,
Wessel's Addition, and was subsequently deeded to the City
of Saint Pau1 as a temporary easement to remain in effect
until the expiration date of July 31, 1966.
The attorney for the record owner of subject land makes
this request to clarify the original intent, being that said
construction easement was temporary.
It is the recommendation of the Land Committee that the
proper City Officials execute a Quit Claim Deed on behalf of
the City of Saint Paul to subject temporary easement.
