In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides of Mcl,esa Avenue frc�m
Maria Avenue to Bates Avenne and by doing all other work which is n�cessary and
incidental ta complete said-improvement,
under Preliminary Order 2b2574 approve� March 12, 1969
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of P`inance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewaTk on both sides o€ McLean Avenue €rom Maria Avenue
to Bates Avenue and by doing all ot�er work whfch is neceaaarq and incidental
to complete said iffiprovement, except where good aad sufficient pvured sidewalks
now exist
$ 3.50 per lin ft for a 5' wide walk
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.20 p�r lin fC for a 6' Wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 16 t� day of
�v. 1969 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in'the manner provided by the Charter, stating the �ime and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
