Fi nancial I nformation: (Explain) 0'� - �S"� NOTES OF Tf� LEGISLATIVE HEARING LETTERS OF DEFICIENCY, CORRECTION NOTICE5, & CORRECTION ORDERS Tuesday, Februazy 10, 2004 Room 330 City Hall, 15 Kellogg Boulevazd West Mazcia Moermond, Legisla#ive Hearing Officer The hearing was called to order at 1:30 p.m. STAFF PRESENT: Michael Urmann, Division of Fire Prevention 1383 Rice Street (Division of Fire Prevention) (Ted Natus, owner, called to request a layover of this issue, as he could not attend the hearing today.) Michael Urmann explained that the bedroom would be unduly difficult or costly to install; therefore, he does not oppose the appeal. He does not see signs of water damage, mold or mildew damage. Mazcia Moermond asked would he recommend an extension or a waiver of the requirement. Mr. Urmann responded a waiver of the requirement with an attachment that if the owner ever does a rehabilitation of the bathroom and it becomes cost effective, the owner would install it at that time. Ms. Moermond recommends a variance of the Deficiency List dated January 13, 2004 on the following conditions: 1) if the rehabilitation of the bathrooms every becomes cost effective, the windows or ventilation systems will be installed at that time pursuant to code; 2) the building will otherwise be maintained in compliance with a11 relative codes and ordinances. The appellants should be notified that they will not need to come to another hearing. The hearing was adjoumed at 132 p.m. �
