RESOLVED That the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, an application
to the Land Commissioner of Ramsey County for the conveyance of certain
tax forfeited lands for use by the City of St. Paul for playground
purposes, as described below:
Subject to Avenue and except beginning at a point on the center
line of Ames Avenue 7 feet northwesterly from the northeast
corner of the southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4; thence south
34`'12T west 186.77 feet; thence north 55°48' west 100 feet;
thence north 34°12' east 193 feet to center line of said
Avenue; thence south 52°14t east 100.2 feet on said center
line to beginning, beginning at the northeast corner of the
southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4; thence south on the µ µ
section line 270.84 feet, thence west at right angles 283.7 feet;
thence north at right angles 392.68 feet to center line of Ames
Avenue; thence on said center line 325.24 feet to beginning; in
Section 27, Township 29, Range 22.

The Land Committee considered and approved the request
of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Buildings
for authority to submit an TiApplication for Conveyance of
Tax Forfeited" lands to the Land Commissioner's Office, for
a certain parcel of land to be used for playground purposes,
more particularly described on the attached copy of the
application.
