WHEREAS , Theodore Podobinski, an employee of the Police
and Fire Alarm Bureau, was injured in a third party accident
ori`May 9 , 1968, while engaged in the performance of his duties ;
and

_ WHEREAS , the City has incurred medical expense in the
amount of $163.00 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated between said
employee and the other party involved in said accident which
provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of
$163.00 , now, �herefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City �fficers are hereby
authorized to accept the sum of $163.00 in full, final and
complete settlement o� its claim herein and to execute any
necessary releases therefor; and that said sum be credited
to the Workmen's Compensation Fund.
