WHEREAS , Daniel Bostrom, an employee of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on December 12 , 1968, while engaged in the performance
of his duties ; and
WHEREAS , �aid employee was disabled from work for a period
of two days being paid salary in the amount of $64.90 , for which
the City may elaim credit at the rate of $12.00 per day; and
WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between said
employee and the other party involved in said accident, which
provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of 524.00;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to accept the sum of $24,00 in full, final and complete settlement
of its claim herein and to. execute any necessary releases therefor;
that said sum is thereby credited to the Police Salary Fund.
