IT fS RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter into MnDOT Agreement No. &5853 with the
State o# Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:
To provide for aesthetic lighting maintenance and aesthetic metal bridge railing maintenance by
the City within the City limits and to the southwest limit of Bridge Number 9300 along Trunk
Highway 5 from the south limit of Sridge Number 9300 over the Mississippi River to Munster
Avenue, as defined in said agreement.
It IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Director of Public Works are authorized to
execute the Agreement.

The State and the City of Saint Paul are working together to reconstruct the Trunk Highway 5 Bridge, including aesthetic
lighting and aesthetic metal bridge railing, from the western limit of this bridge, over the Mississippi River to Munster Avenue,
and aiso on the Shepard Road Bridge over Trunk Highway 5.
