WHEREAS, In the matter of Contract No. L-706� with the F. Morettini
Construction Co�pany for the constrtiction of a storm sewer in YORK AVENUE
from Jessie Street to DeSoto Street, Froject No. 68-S-1268, which has a
contract completion date of October 31, 1968, and
WHERBAS, The Contractor has requested that the construction period
be advanced oae �onth due to his other work being deleyed by the unusually
wet weather in October, and
WHEREAS, The City will not suffer any extra expense or damage if the
construction period is so advanced, now, therefore be it
���� RESOLVED, That the contract co�pletion date is hereby extended to
�, November 30, 1968, provided hovever, that this resolution shall have no
force or effect unles� the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent
thereto and file such consent in writing with the Citq Conptroller, and
be it,
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all
claim for liqufdated de�ages and that no engineering and inspection costs
on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
