WHERSAS, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Improvement
described as the LAUREL-SYNDICATE STORM SEWER, Comptroller�s Contract L-7037,
Austin P. Keller Construction Company, Contractor, have been provided for in
the Specifications, and
WHEREAS, During the construction of the manhole at Syndicate and Ashland,
steel sheeting was driven to protect an adjacent 30" water main. The Water Depart-
ment requested that the steel sheeting be left in place, and since this was not
required in the plans, it is hereby agreed that the Contractor be reimbursed for
the steel sheeting, and
WHEREAS, It has been found necessary to make the following Additions:
ADDITIONS
4 pieces o� steel sheeting, 20 ft. long $354.80
Additional work required to construct the sewer under
a telephone conduit at Selby and Syndicate
Type 2 manhole 1 �d $400.00 = $400.00
Additional pavement removal 7.1 sq. yd. @ 1.60 11.36
Additional concrete base 7.1 sq. yd. {� 5.50 39.05
Additional asphalt surfacing 7.1 sq. yd. @ 3.85 27.34

WHEREAS, The total addition is $832.55, and the Commissioner of Fublic Works
has agreed with the Contractor that the amount of $832.55 is the correct 'sum to
be added to said contract; therefore b� it
RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council approves the
foregoing additions made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of
$832.55, said amount to be added to .the lump sum consideration named in the
contract, known as Comptroller�s Contract L-7037, and which amount is to be
assessed against benefit�led property. 7 �
