WHEREAS, Comptroller's Contract L-7045, Ar�or-Coat Co�apany
contractor for the resurfacing-University froa� Emerald to Lexington
has been ubstantially completed and,
WHEREAS, Said contractor requests tnat a portion of the 15°,b
retained under the contract from estimates for work done, be paid
in advance of the final compietion of the contract and,
WHEREAS, The Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the �epartment
of Public Works approve the payment at this time of $2,500.00
from the retained percentage amounting to $8,620.07 to said contractor
and be it,
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and they are hereby
authorized to pay an estir�ate in the a�ount of $2,500.00 fro� the
retained percentage arrwunting to $8,620.07 to said contractor, and
be it,
FURTHER I�ESOLVED, That this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent thereto
in ariting and file such consent with the City Cotnptroller.
