WHEREAS, Comptroller's Contract L-7o55, Armor-Coat Conapany
contractor for the grading and surfacing of Hoyt-Marion-Woodbridge�
has been substantially completed a�d,
WHEREAS, Said contractor requests that a portion of the 15'�
retained under the contract fro�+ estimates for work donei be paid
in advance of the final completian of the contract and,
WHEREAS, The Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the �epart�nent
of Public Works approve the payment at this tirsae of $3,0OO.OQ
from the retained pe�centage amounting to $7,899.01 to said contractor
and be it�
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and they are hereby
authorized to pay an estir�ate in the amount of $3,000.00 from the
retained percentage amounting to $7,899.01 to said contractor,
and be it�
FURTNER RESOLVED, That this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent thereto
in writing and file such consent with tbe City Comptroller.
