For the iast nine years I have had the privilege of working in a racial(y and
economically diverse community often with peopie in conflict. This includes
neighbor-to-neighbor disputes, friction beriveen res+dents and business owners,
conflict between the community at targe and city departments, etc. This has
taught me to be a good listener and to understand there are always two sides to
every story, however I am not afraid to ask di�cult questions. t have also worked
closely with the St. Paut Poiice Department on a variety of issues and understand
the concept of community policing. Other skills include the ability to estabiish
and maintain trusting relationships, meeting facilitation and sound decision-
making skills, i am aiso detail oriented, highiy organized as weli as a team
player. As required, i am also a graduate of the Citizen's Police Academy.

Mayor Kelly has recommended the appointment of Katherine Cole to the
Police Civilian Review Commissian. Her term wili expire on December
2, 2005.
Mayor Kelly has also recommended the reappoinhnent of Lisa Agrunonti,
Patrick Ruble, and Sgt. John Wright to the Police Civilian Review
Commission. Their terms shall expire on December 2, 2007.
Attached is a copy of the resolution nominating these individuais as well
as Ms. Cole's application. Please remember that certain information on the
application is classified as private and should not be released to the public.
