WHEREAS, Animal Ark has generously offered to pay for the class "Compassion Fatigue and Bumout
Workshop for Those Who Work With and Caze for Animals" for one Animal Control Officer to attend this event on
Friday, Februazy 20`� at the Hilton Garden Inn in Eagan located at 1975 Rahncliff Court to the City of Saint Paul
Office of LIEP, Animal Control Center; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this workshop is to teach what events cause stress, how to develop effective
coping strategies and how to achieve balance in work and life for animal control professionals; and
WHEREAS, the cost of this event is $85.00 for one Animal Control Officer to attend, now therefore be it,
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts Animal Ark's generous and
thoughtful gift and extends its deep appreciation and thanks to Animal Ark far the same.
