WHER�S The City of St. Paul has received an Open-Space Land Grant
from the Department of Iiousing and Urban Development of the United States
of America to assist in the expansion of Merriam Terrace Park, and
M)HF�REAS the State of Minnesota, through its Natural Resouree Fund, has
made funds available to the City of St. Paul. to assist in matching the
federal �rant for the expansion of Merriam Terrace Park, and
HIHEREAS the Commi.ssioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings
was authorized to accept this grant from the State of Minnesota in the amount
of �26,go8.7o,
BE IT RESOLVED that the fund No. 97�?-R (Priority No. 004) appearing in
