In the matter of constructing the ST. ANTHONY HILL DISTRICT - Dayton-
Milton Relief System (S-971H2), heretofore approved for advertisement for
bids on t�y 15, 1969,
MIHEREAS, it has been determir�ed that a revision of the Special
Provisions is necessary to better define the work to be done and ta insure a
more uniform procedure for preparation of bids; now therefore, upon the
recam�endation of the Commissioner of Public Works, be it
RESOLVED, That the specifications for the above nas�ed improvement,
1 as approved by the Council , are hereby amended with Addendum No. l ,
v ��� which is attached to and made a part of the above mentioned contract,
and that further, all interested parties be notified of this addendcam.

ADDENDUM I�. 1
May 28, 1969
The ptanholder's attention is calied to the following revisions
to be made in the Plans and Specifications of the above referenced
project.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS
Section 25 Citv Liqhtinq Bureau Underqround Cables
Add the following:
"The City Lighting Bureau will remove and reset, at no cost to the
Contractor, ornamental light standards that conflict with sewer con-
struction."
Section 41 Concrete Curb
Amend th�s Specification to read:
"Curb replacement on all streets except Lexington, Narshall and
Selby shall be accompltshed by using bituminous curb.
Curb replacement at Lexington, Marshall and Selby shall be accom-
plished by using concrete curb."
Section 44 Sidewalk Replacement
The existing paragraph shall be construed to apply to existing
monolithically poured concrete sidewalk only.
Existing tile sidewalk shall be replaced where necessary with 2"
of bituminous mat, City Specification F-2, upon the compacted soil .
Section 45 Boulevard Restoration
This section shall be construed to apply to Lexington Avenue only.
All other boulevard restoration shail be accomplished through seeding.
DRAWING N0. 3995
On that portion of the plan showing Dayton Avenue,change the box
showing Pavement Replacement to read:
"2" bituminous mat on 4" Class 5 gravel".
