Depaxtment, with said salc to be conducted by public auction, to
be held Wednesday, June 11, 1969, Office of the Purchasing Agent,
pursuant to Chapter 87A of the I,egislative Cod�. The deseription
of said parcel of land is:
The west 2 of vacated alley accruin� and that portion
of Wheelock Parkway (formerly being a pa.rt of I,ot 9,
Block 12, Gurney Highland Paxk) lying south of a line
60 f�et southerly oP and parallel to the c�nter line of
Wh�elock Parkway, said center li.ne of Wheelock Pa,rkway is
described and recorded in the Office of the Ramsey County
Regist�r of Deeds, in Book l, of Park Plats, Pa.ge 13�+9•
The City Council hereby approves the appraisal of said parcel of
land at $600 which amount represents the opening acceptable bid,
and the City Purchasing Depaxtment is hereby directed to proceed
with said sale. The City of Saint Paul will f�.irnish a Quit Claim
Deed to the suceessf�.i.7, bidder.

Gentlemen:
The Council of the City of Saint Paul did, by resolution,
C. F. No.xy,37�7 , approved May 7, 1969 vacate that section of
public street described as:
That portion of Wheelock Parkway (formerly being
a part of Lot 9, Block 12, Gurney Highland Park)
lying south of a line 60 feet southerly of and
parallel to the center line of Wheelock Parkway,
said center line of Wheelock Parkway is described
and recorded in the Office of the Ramsey County
Register of Deeds in Book 1 of Park Plats, Page
1349.
The conditions of the vacation have been satisfied by the
petitioners; and, in order to dispose of this land, we, the
Committee on Lands, do hereby recommend that the Council of the
City of Saint Paul direct that said land be offered at a public
sale to be conducted by the City Purchasing Agent, by auction bid.
