1 VJHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul believes that a city's ability to plan for, nurture, and support art,
2 and shared cu]tural activities, enhances the unique aspects of a geat metzopolitan area; and
3 WF�REAS, Saint Paul's zoos, parks, theaters and recreational sites are all vital components in the eup of a first
4 class city and improves the quality of life for its residents, businesses, and visitors; and
5 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council is the policy making body for the City of Saint ul, and as such, its work
6 is inextricably linked to the City's Legislative Agenda; now therefore be it
