S City Council c/o City Clerk Room 386 St. Paul, Minn. 55102 Dear Sirs: I have written before objecting to having the alley in block 21, ?.rlington Hills Addition graded and surfaced, and I am writing again to object as I am unable to attend the public hearing on June 25th, 1969. I wish to state again, as in my previous letter, that it is rumored that in a few years Seegers cnay own all property to Case or Sims Street. Also, it is rumored that the new highway may comes down Case. And it is interesting to note that the movement to renovate the area on the east side stops at Case and does not continue to Sims. �dhen I questioned why, I was told that the homes from Sims down to the tracks are such that they are not worth bothering about. Too, this alley is not extznsively used. The tew garages on this alley cannot even be used as such because they are too narrow to accomodate new automobiles. The alley is so steep and is so unusual that even if it were re-done, we would be unable to use our garage. I understand that I am the oniy one who has complaitzed about having this work done; however, I have tal�ced to several people - they have complained to me but they have ne�lected to inform the ri�ht peopie, so I suppose it is now too late for anything. I do, though, just want to register another complaint and hope that somehow perhaps you may take this lztter into consideration. I feel, as lon; as there is only one person "for" and one "against" on file, that instead of just going ahead with this, that it may be oiven more consideration. There are so many other needs in the city that I feel perhaps are much raore valid and necessary than re-doinb this alley. Thank you very much for any consideration you may �ive this.
