Ave. to White Bear Ave. by taking and condemning for street purposes those parts of �
Lots 9 � 10, Block 4, Ames Acre Lots lying north of the following described line: `
Commencing at intersection westerly line of Lot 9, Ames Acre Lots and the south line
of Clear Ave. as opened, thence easterly on a straight line to a point on the westerly
line of Lot 10, Ames Acre Lots , said point being 30 feet south of the north line of
said Lot 10, thence northeasterly on a strai�ht line to a point 20 feet easterly of
the westerly line of said Lot 10, and 20 teet south of the north line of said Lot 10,
thence easterly on a straight �ine 20 feet southerly and parallel to the north line
of said Lot 10 to the easterly line o£ said Lot 10.
Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in
the grading and surfacing with hituminous material CLEAR AVE. from 240' west of
White Bear Ave. to White Bear Aveo '

The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount '
` of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
Thirtieth day���,I�1y; 1969 __ �_, at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
