WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County a.nd
Mu.nicipal Employees, Local 8, ha.s petitioned the Bureau of Mediation
Services of the State of Minnesota. to act in the dispute with the City of
Saint Paul regarding the service rating of an employee of the Department
of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings; be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
authorizes the Chief Civil Service Examiner, or a member of his staff
appointed by said Exami.ner, to represent the Council at conferences
scheduled by the Bureau of 1VIediation Services pursuant to the petition
of Local 8.
