04-10944�,�� ���1� �o�l RESOLUTION Presented by OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Council File # �`�� � Green Sheet # 204269 Z�{ 1 WHEREAS, the r ide of the azea adjacent to or neaz the Lincoln/Victoria intersection have submitted a petition for Z residential permit parking in accordance with Chapter 168 0£ the Saint Paul I.egislative Code; and 3 WI�REAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul finds that the aforementioned residential azea does not have sufficient 4 off-street parking to safely accommodate the residential pazking needs of the residents and the parldng needs of non- 5 residents. The Council further finds the frequent pazking of vehicles in this residential azea by these non-residential users 6 has created residential problems of a safety, environmental and aesthetic nature. 7 THERF,FORE, to enhance the quality of life in residential azeas by reducing noise, uaffic hazards and litter; to reduce air 8 pollution and other environmental factors, and to preserve the safety of children and other pedestrians; to preserve the 9 chazacter of this district as a residential district and to protect the residents of these azeas from unreasonable buzdens in 10 gaining access to their residences; l l NOW, THEREFORE BE I'I' RESOLVED, that the following parking regulations shall be in effect in the residential area 22 near the Lincoln/Victoria intersecUon: 2:00 13 1. (Pernuts sold to residents on both sides of Lincoln Avenue even though Pemut Pazking resViction posted only on the south side). Two guest pernuts and four vehicle pemvts will be znade available to each household.
