Resolution Approving $65,000 Of STAR Grant Funds
For The University Dale Apartments Project
WI3EREAS, on September 28, 1994, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul established the
Neighborhood Sales Tax Revitalization (STAR) Program, C.F. 94-ll27; and
10 WHEREAS, the Neighborhood STAR Program is financed in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
11 297A, authorized by the State of Minnesota, Chapter No. 375, Sec.46; and

13 WHEREAS, the purpose of the Neighborhood STAR Program is to fund capital improvements to fiuther
14 residential, commercial and economic development in the neighborhoods of St. Paul; and
15
16 WHEREAS, the Neighborhood STAR Board, and city staff have provided input into the review of the STAR
17 funding request for the University Dale Apartments Project; and
18
19 WHEREAS, Councilmember Montgomery recommends a STAR Grant of $65,000 for the University Da1e
20 Apartments Project.

22 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City
23 of Saint Paul hereby approves a$65,000 STAR Crrant for the University Dale Apartment Project.

25 Inveshnent Initiative grant as follows:
