WHEREAS, there has been recently enacted by the State of
Minnesota in Chapter 1138, Laws of 196g, and in Chapter 10'70, Laws
of 1969, legislation amending Laws of 1g67, Chapter 459. Said
amendments creating a Civic Center authority and increasing the
amount of the bonds to construct, reconstruct, remodel and equip
a Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul , pursuant to
Council File No. 240963, approved November 15, 1968, accepted
guarantors' agreements pursuant to Section 3, Subdivision 1 of
Chapter 459, Laws of 1967; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the guarantors that nothwithstanding
the amendments as provided in the Laws of 1g69, that the agreements
which were accepted by the City of Saint Paul pursuant to Council
File No. 240963, approved November 15, 1968, shall remain in full
force and effect; and
WHEREAS, the guarantors, as evidence of the above, have executed
agreements ratifying said amendments as contained in Chapter 1138,
Laws of 1969 and Chapter 1070, Laws of 196g; now, therefore , be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts said
agreements from the following guarantors:
