4�iHEREAS, pursuant i�o Resolution o� the Coun�il of the
Ci�y af Saint Pat�l, �F l�o. 239�40, approved July 16, 1968,
the City did retain �tephen W. Shaughness�, in the ma.�ter
of City of Saint Paul v�. Keith W. Sorenson, to proaecute
an appeal from a �ud�ment to �he Sup�°eme Court of Minnesota
upon condi�i�n that the Qity would pa�r one-third of any
reeovery aa reasonable a�torn�y�s fees; and
WHEREAS, the appeal was suceessful and a re�overy of
$+6212.10 was seeured by a remittance dated Au�us� 6, 1969
from the A11 Nai�ion Insuran�e �ompany; now, therefo�e, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City offieers are autharized
and direc�ed to pay $2070.70 ico Stephen W. Shaughnes��; as
reasonable at�orneyts feea, such to be paid out of Workmen�s
Compensa�ion Fund No. 0950-�+2$•
