WHEREAS, the Red Cross has notified the Of�ice of
the Mayor that the blood supply at the Red Gross Blood
Bank is low and help is needed; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council feel it is
necessary to the welfare of the citizens of this City
that the supply of blood at the Red Cross Blood Bank
be sufficient; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED! That the head of each department of City
government be and he hereby is authorized and directed to
release those employees. who wish to give blood on Auguat
19, 20, 21 and 22, �g6g, for that period of time which
is necessary to donate b14�d for said purpose.
