WHEREAS� Council File No. 233399, adopted and approved
May 9, 1967, granted a Special Use Permit to Skelly : 4i1 Co. to
construct a gasoline filling station on property located on the
east side of White Bear Avenue between Interstate 94 and Burns
Avenue, more particularly described in said C. F. No. 233399, in
accordance with plans dated March 7, ig67 ; and
WI�REAS� the Council has from time to time granted
extensions of time to Skelly Oil Co. under said permit; and
WHEREAS, Skelly Oil Co. cannot imtiate construction of
said structure by the expiration date of the last such extension,
Gouncil File No. 243�83, adopted April 15, 1g6g; now, therefore , be
it
RESOLVED� That the life of this permit be extended
�urther for an additional ninety days .

Gentlemen:

This office has received a letter from the Skelly Oil
Company requesting a 90-day extension of their Special Use Permit
granted. to them by the City Council. They have been granted y,'�
previous extensions, the latest being Council File No. 243183, �
for the same reason, i. e. , Suburban Avenue has not been constructed
and there will be many changes on White Bear Avenue in connection
with the construction of I-94.
It would. be the recommendation of this d.epartment that
the Council grant Skelly Oil Company this request.
