WH�REAS, The Commi�ssioner of Parks and R�creatiou and Public Builda.ng�s
has beer� designated by the Nayor as the local liaison agency for the City
of St. Paul for the purpose of admiaistering Lai►d and Water Conservation
�nd Act Gr�nts; and
W�iERFAS, local share funds are available through the 1968, 1969, aad
1970 Capital Improvement Budget for the p�arpose of a matchi.ng Federal grant
for the following development projects: Aldine, �herokee, Crosby I,ake,
D�rton's Bluff, Edgcumbe, Hamline, Iiiddexi Falls, Iris, Irvine, Margaret,
McDonough, North Dale, Rice-I�awson, St. Clair, Sylvan, and West Minaehaha
Parks and Picnic Tables; now therefore be it
RF50LVPD, That the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation anci Publie
Buildings is hereby authorized to execute and file with the State Planning
Agency, the State Liaison Agency for the adm:ir�istration of Land and Water
Con�ervation Fl�nds, a development project proposal for a grant for the
development of Aldine, Cherokee, Crosby Lake, Dayton's Bluff, Edgcumbe,
Iiam].ine, bIidden Falls, Iris Park, Ixwine, Margaret, McDonough, North Da].e,
Rice-I�awson, St. Clair, Sylva�►, and West Minnehaha Parks, and Pi.cnic Tables,
in an eventual amount equal to fifty per cent (5(�) of the deve3opment cost
now estimated to be $1,182,214.87•
