� Lake and the City of Saint Paul , .
WIT�dESSETH , - .
WHEREAS , said Cities , pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1967 , .
Section 471 . 59 , are desirous of making' joint purchases of equipment ,
materials and supplies in order to secure more favorable prices ; :
PJOW , THEREFORE , the parties Agree as follows :
; 1 . That the City of Saint Paul shall , pursuant to the procedures
� set forth in t}ie Saint Paul City Charter and applicable State statutes ,
make joint purchases for both the City of White ['sear Lake and the City
of Saint Paul of whatever same or similar equipment , materials and
supplies are authorized and requested by both the City of Saint Paul
and the Ci ty of 'r!h i te E3ear Lake .
� . tacn party shall make payment directly to the Vendor according
to established procedures .
3 . Neither party shall assume any responsibility for the
accountability of funds expended by the other or the issuance of a
purchase order by the other party .
4 . Each party shall be separately accountable for its own
expenditures of public funds made hereurider. �
5 . After bids have been received by the Purchasing Qepartment �

of the City of Saint Paul and awarded , each party shall enter into
its own separate contract or agreement with the Vendor .

SUBJECT: Co-operative purchasing agreements.
Attached find agreement fron the City of White Bear Lake and copy of
the resolution of their council . If we are to do anything for them I •
betieve we should have a like resolution from the City Council and the
agreement signed on this end. Roseville is also in the process of having
their council pass a like resolution, Joe Sills, the manager, informs me
it will be forthcoming in the imrnediate future. Maybe one resotution could
take care of both bodies �
