The pavement marking striper owned and used by Public Works is 18 yeazs old. The company which manufactured the striper is no longer in
business. The striper requires a considerable amount of annual maintenance. A study completed by Public Works has detercnined that
purchase of a new striper is cost effective.
ADVAMAGES IF APPROVED.
Reduced pavement mazking striper maintenance costs. I,ess down 6me for striper and associated staff due to striper being out of service for
maintenance. More dependable striper will allow Public Works to complete more striping during striping season (April to October).
