The City of Saint Paul's share of this amount is $349,958.12, and Ramsey Countyts share is $922,616.88. It is contemplated that the Ramsey County Hospital and 5anitarium Commission will borrow sufficient funds to repay the city and county for the emergency appropriation. The deficit in the Ramsey County Welfare Board budget this year is the result of the hospital receipts nofi meeting the budget estimate. The estimated deficit is the result of a projection prepared by the Welfare Department controller. An emergency appropriation is necessary for the Welfare Board to meet its commitments and obligations.
