Dear Mr. Marshall:
This is written in response to the application of Western
State Bank for a permit to install a drive-in teller banking
facility and parking lot on the northeast corner of North
St. A.lbans Street and University A�enue. This property is
further described as:
Lots 16-21, Block 1, Syndicate No. 1
This matter was considered at the A.ugust 7, 1969, Board
of Zoning meeting. The staff reported that the zoning is proper
for this use and that plans have the approval of the Traffic
Engineer. It was noted, however, that the driveway from
St. Albans could be relocated to provide better and safer
traffic movements.
Mr. W. H. Kortum, representing the bank, indicated that
the staff recommendations would be acceptable.
The Board, therefore, voted 5-0 to recommend approval of this
application subject to the changes proposed by the staff. Revised
plans received August 14, 1969, incorporate these changes.

Mr, McPartlin moved far approval since it met with the approval of the ataff
and the Traffic Engineer with the suggested chsnges. Mro Danna seconded the
motion, which carried unanimoasly.
