under Preliminary Order 244950 approved Julq 22� 1969
The Gouncil of the CYty of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above impravement, and having considered said raport, hereby resolvea:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, a,nd the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cauncil recommends is
to iu�prove PAYNE AVSN�B fros Ha�thorae Aveaue to Ivq Aveuue (City Projeet l�o.
�-493) by coastraeting an ornamestal lighting systes� and by doing all other work
plich is aecessary sad incidental to cataplete said iaproneaent,
with no alternatives, and that the estima.ted cost thereof is $ 12,530.0�
Resolved Further, 1`hat a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 7 th day of
�ctober� T969 , at the hour of 14 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Caurt
House and City Hall Building in the City af St. Faul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by th� Cha,rter, stating the time and place af
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the to�al cost thereof as estimated.
