person or property arising out cf or resulting f rom the use
of satd street in an amount of $250,000.00 for each individual
who a�ay suffe� personal injury and $500,000.00 on account of
personal injury resuiting from any one accident and affecting
aiore than one person, and in the amount of $200,000.00 because
���k of injury or damage to property on account of any o�e accident,
such insurance coverage to be evidenced by policies of insurance
approved by the Corporation Counsel ;
6. That said permittee shall file its written accept-
ance of this resolution and of all the provisions, terms and
conditions of the sa�e with the City Clerk and shall submit
to the Corporation Counsel for his approval , the aforesaid
bond and insurance coverages which shall th�reaf ter be filed
with the Comptroller of the City of Saint Paul , not later
thaa September 5, 1969, and in the event of its failure to
do so, the permission and authority hereby granted shail lapse.

RESOLVED, That the Macalester College, Saint Paul , Minnesota 55104, is
hereby authorized and permitted to use Macalester St. beta►een S�nit Avenue
and Grand Avenue from 6:00 p.m. to 1 :�0 a.s�. on Saturday, September 6, 1969,
for its Welcome Back Street Da�ce; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Caamissioner of Pubiic Works is hereby
authorized to issue a permit to said Macalester Coliege for the use of said
street upon and subject to the foilowing provisions, terms and condittons:
1. That said permittee shall pay the cost of publication
�,y of this resolution;

2. That safd permittee shall notify the Traffic Bureau
of the Public Mlorks Department when the street is requested to
be closed and opened; all cxpenses incurred by the Depart�nent
of Peibtic Works in a�inistration, furnishing, installing and
removing of barricades, signs and other controi devices, shall
be paid for by the permittee, and accounted for �nder Depart-
�ent of Publ ic Works Project N�ber E-1��2;
3. That said permittee shall furnish a bond of $1�,000.00
to the City of Saint Paul , conditioned to cv�ply with all the �� �
ter�s of this resol�tion and to inde�nnify and save the City "
harmiess fran any and all loss, liability, judgr�ents, suits, �
costs, charges, damages or expense t�at �ay accrue to person �
or property occasioned by the use of said street; �; �

4. That said permittee expressly agrees and �ndertakes a Q�
to fully indemnify and Mold harmless the City of Saint Paul , q �
its agents, officers and ea�ployees, from any and ail damages,
claims, losses, Judg�ents, suits or expense arisi�g out of o y
or occasioned by the use of said street contemplated by this � �j �
permission and authority;
5. That said permittee shail not prxeed to use said
street or be issued a permit unless and until said per�ittee .
