In the matter of opening, widening and extending an all�y in Registered Land Surv�y
No. 82 and Block 2, Robert L. Ware�s Eastern Heights Acre Lots, from Pedersen Street
to Winthrop;�Street by condemning and taking those parts of Tract J, Hegistered Land
Survey No. '82 and of Lots 19, 20 and the west 45 feet of the east 55 Feet of the
south 122.22 feet of Lot 16, Block 2, Robert L. Ware's Eastern Aeights Acre Lots,
lying between 2 lines 122 feet and 142 feet north of and parallel with the north
line of Margaret Street.
Also, ease�nts in the land necessary for slopes, cuts and fills, including right
of removal of lateral support fraa subject land or remai�r thereof, occasioned by
excavations thereof or construction of slop�s in the grading and surfacing with
bituminous material the proposed alley in Registered Land Suxwey No. 82 and Block
2, Robert L. Ware�s Eastern Heights Acre Lots from Pedersen Street to Winthrop Street
(G-1880)
under Preliminary Order 2417 56 , a�proved January 16, 1969 ,
Intermedi�ry Order 243957 , approved May 20, 1969 ,
Final Order 244569 , approved June 24, 1969 ,
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said asse,ssment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the

sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
