WHEREAS, Council File Number 86.1124 established residential permit parking adjacent to Saint
Thomas College; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has received a valid petition requesting installation of
permit parking restrictions on a certain section within Permit Area 23 and,
WHEREAS, the petition has been signed by more than 60% of the property owners, as required in
Council File No. 86-1124;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following revision be made in the Residential
Permit Parking Area 23 near Saint Thomas College;
Install No Parking Monday through Friday 8AM-8PM Except by Permit in Area 23 on the following
street:
Both sides of Fairmount Avenue from Cretin Avenue to Mount Curve Avenue.

INITIATING PROBLEM, ISSUE, OPPORTUNIN (WHO, NhiAT, NMEN, WHERE, WHV):
Nine of fourteen residents signed petition to add both sides of street to Permit Parking Area 23. Ordinance 168. requires
60%; they have 64%. Permit Parking was installed on Fairmount Avenue either side of this block. The necessary signature
just came in to meet the 60% requirement.
