WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library will hold a volunteer recognition
program at the Saint Paul Radisson Hotel on April 17, 1997, and
WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library has received monies from the
Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library to pay for the event,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, It is ordered that library officials are
authorized and directed to undertake the staging of the event and remit
the cost not to exceed $5,500 for the program to the proper parties.

This event, paid for by funds from The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library,
recognizes adult volunteers who have served the Library throughout the year. These
volunteers contributed hours to the Library doing a variety of work.
