WI�REAS, The City of St. Paul has received Open-Space Land Grants
from the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the United
States of America to assist in the acquisition of the Roosevelt Homes,
Collins-DeSoto, and Acker Recreation Areas, and
WHERF�lLS, The City of St. Paul has received I,and and Water Conservation
Ftiu►d Act Grants through the State of Minnesota, Department of Conservation,
to assist in the development of Crosby Lake Park and Hidden Falls Park, and
WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota through its Natural Resources Fund has
made funds available to the City of St. Paul to assist in matching the
federal grants for the above-listed projects; now, therefore�
BE IT RE50LVED, That the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings is hereby .authorized to accept these grants from the
State of Minnesota in the following amounts:
Hidden Falls Park $14,250
Crosby Lake Park 12,000
Roosevelt Iiomes Playground 12,750 - � - �
Collins-DeSoto Recreation
