WHERF�A,S, an examination for the position o�
"Tabulating Machine Operator I" is being scheduled, and
WI�E�S, investi�a�ion makes it evident that a
sufficient eligible list cannot be obtained from amon�
the residents of the City, and
WI-iE'REAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the City
to extend competition to persons living outside of the City;
now therefore, be it
R�SOLVED, that the residence requi.rements for ac�n3.ssion
to the examination as provided in Section 10 D of the Civil
Service Rules are hereby waived for the first exam3nation
for "Tabulatin� Maehine Operator I" to be held followin�
the passa�e of this resolution.
