WHFRE�S, the City of Saint Paul and the Bnrlington
�orthern, Tnc. h�ve entered into an agre�aaent whereby the
parties ha�e consented to the constr�etion of a new Dale
�treet Bridge over the Railroad' s right-of-way, aad the
Railroad has agreed to convey to the City an �asement for
street and bridge purpose�; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereb� accept dedication of an easement over land owned by the
Burlington l�orthern, Inc., for the Dale Street Bridge, as more
particularly described in the said deed of dedicatio�, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, and
the proper City offi�ers are hereby authorized and directed to place
the said deed of dedic�tion of record in the proper office of record
in and for the Courity of Ramsey.

DEDICATION OF EASEMENT
BURLINGTON NORTHERN INC. , Grantor, for and in consideration
of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable con-
sideration, the receipt and sufficiency whereof are hereby
acknowledged, does hereby grant unto the CITY OF SAINT PAUL,
a municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota, Grantee, a
permanent easement for highway and bridge purposes in, on, over
and across the following described real estate situated and being
in Ramsey County, Minnesota, to-wit:
That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the 5outhwest 1/4
of Section 25, Township 29 North, Range 23 West,
bounded by the following described Iines:
Beginning at a point 728.73 fee�t north of
the South line af said Section 25 and 33 feet
� east of the West line of said Section 25; thence
� easterly along a line parallel to the 5outh line
of Section 25 a distance of 72 feet; thence northerly
along a line parallel to the West line of Section 25
a distance of 60 feet; thence northeasterly a distance
of 64.26 feet to a point 128 feet east of the West
l.ine of Section 25; thence northerly along a line -
128 feet east of and parallel to the West line of
Section 25 a distance of 234.24 feet more or less
to a point on the North right-of-way line of the
Great Northern Railway Campany, now Burlington
Northern Inc. ; thence northwesterly along said
right-of-way line to a point 33 feet east of the
West line of Section 25; thence southerly along a
line 33 feet east of and parallel to the West line
of Section 25, a distance of 361.44 feet to the point
of beginning;
That part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 26, Township 29 North, Range 23 West, bounded
by the fol.lowing described lines:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Dale Street .
71.a feet north of the intersection of the original
South line of the right-of-way of the Great Northern
Railway Company, now Burlington Northern . Inc. , and

the West line of Dale Street; thence westerly to
a point 50 feet westerly of the West line of Dale
Street on a line which intersects the Northeast
corner ot Lot 9, Block 12, Butterfield Syndicate
Add. No. 2; thence northerly on a line 50 feet west
of and parallel to the West line of Dale Street a
distance of 284. 38 feet more or less to a point on
the northerly right-of-way line of the Great Northern
Railway Company, now Burlington Northern Inc. ; thence
southeasterly on said right-of-way line to the West
line of Dale Street; thence southerly on said West ,
line of Dale Street a distance of 280.59 feet more
or less to the point of beginning.
RESERVING unto Grantor, its successors and assigns, in the
hereinbefore-described easement grant, the right not only to
continue the use and operation of all existing railroad facilities
. now located on the said real estate, but the right to construct and
maintain such additional facilities as it _may desire, in addition
to those now existing, provided that the same will not interfere
with the use and enjoyment of the easement. herein granted.
TN WITNESS WHEREOF, said BURLINGTON NORTHERN INC. has caused
these presents to be signed by its Vice President and countersigned
by its Secretary and its corporate seal to be
hereunto affixed this 24th day of April , 1970.
