under Preliminary Order 248312 approved April 9, 197D -
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the� improvement which the Council recommends is
to recoast�ruct the sidewalk on both sides of Laurel Ave. fram Pierce St. to Aerschel
St. and by doing all other work Which is necessarq and i�cidental to complete said .vf���, ,h,
improve��i��,' exeept �ere ffioed and sufficient poured sidewalks now exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
$4.60 per lin. ft. for 6' walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Sth day of
Tune, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Buildin� in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of F�nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total co�st thereof as estimated. '
