under Preliminary Order 248311 approved April 9, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report af the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconatruct the sidewalk o� both sides of Hewitt Ave. from Albert St. to Holton
St. and on the north side,of Hewitt Ave. froe Holton St. to the West ;approximately
80 ft. and by doing all other �ork which is necessary and incidental t� complete
said iffipronement, except Wh�re good and sufficient poured sidewalks now e�fst.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost th�reof is $ 3.8� per 1in. ft. gor 5' walk
$4.68 per lin. ft`. for 6� walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Sth day of
June, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
Hou�e and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
