under Preliminary Order 248286 approved April 8, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Coxnmissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement �
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reecnatruct the eideWalk and replac� with integral curb and aidevalk ou the aorth
side of University Ave. fro� Hamiine Ave. to tl�e vest approximately 120 ft. and by
doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to, cc�mplete said improvpeent,
except Where good and sufficient poured eidewalk� nc��r exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin. ft. for 5' walk

sidewalk
Resolved Fu�ther, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �+t� day of
June, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. PauL That the Commissioner of Finance give natice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total c�ast thereof as estimated.
