In the Matter of recon�tructing the sidevalk on the north side of Si�s Avenue fram
Arkwright Street to Westminster Street and by doing all other work which ia necessary
and incidental to ccr�plete said improveaent, except where it is determined that good
and sufficinnt poured sidewalks naw exist,
under Preliminary Order�8249 approved-April 7, 1970
The Couneil of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: `
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement -
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That th� nature of the improvement which the Couneil recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of Sia�s Avenue frosa Ark�right S�reet
to West�inster Street and by doimg all other waYlc Which isnec�ssary and incideatal
to comple�e said inpruvement, except Where it is determinad that good and sufficie�t
poured sidewalks naw exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin ft for a 5' wide valk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6� wide palk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �+t� , d�y of
Juae, 197U , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paxtl. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total coat thereof as estimated.
