The Council of the City of S�. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner.of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having.'considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa5.d report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which .the Council recommends is
to reconstruct tY�e side�ralk on �he west side of Arkwright Street frad Yorl� Av�AUe
to Sipis Avenue and b�r doing all oi�her work �hict�, is nec�ssary and incida�tal to
compYete said improvemeat, except where it is detdrmiaed that gaod and sufficiaut . "

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per liR ft for a 5' wide walk
4.60 per lin ft for a 6' Wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heariug be had on said improvement on the 4Ch day of
June 1970
� , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. Tha� the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the na,ture of the improvement �,nd the total cast thereof as estimated.
