Financial Infortnation: (F�cplain) � CS� "�� NOTES OF THE LEGISLATIVE HEARINCT LETTERS OF DEFICIENCY, CORRECTION NOTICES, AND CORRECTION ORDERS Tuesday, September 9, 2003 Room 330 Ci1y Ha11,15 West Kellogg Boulevard Mazcia Moetmond, Legislative Hearing Officer The hearing was called to order at 130 p.m. STAFF PRESENT: Michael Urnann, Fire Prevenrion 565 Kent Street Michael Urmann reported that he and the appellant (Steve Balej, owner) came to an understanding. The property is in code compliance now. The inspector made a mistake in interpreting the. code. The orders should not have been issued, and they haue been withdrawn. Ms. Moermond said that the owner should get a refund of his $25 filing fee. 345 Wabasha Street North Michael Urmann reported that the owner is only doing cosmetic changes. Mr. Urmann is willing to accept the doors in place. This building has so many doors, that replacing a11 of them would be cost prohibitive. Marcia Moermond granted the appeal on the nonconforming doors on the following conditions: 1) If the nonconforming doors ever need to be replaced, they will be replaced with conforming fire rated door assemblies, 2) The building will otherwise be maintained in compliance with a11 applicable codes and ordinances.
