�REAS, Saint Paul Winter Carnival Association, Inc. , in
a statement to the Comptroller dated March 13, 1g70, over the
signature of John P. Geisler, Managing Director of Saint Paul
Winter Carnival Association, Inc . , copy of said statement being
hereto attached and incorporated herein by reference, indicates
costs have been incurred in connection with the subject Winter
Carnival in the amount of �4,665.00, said expenses being listed
as follows:
General liability insurance;
Maintenance of the ski slide; and
Labor and materials for construction of the ramp at
St. Paul Auditorium;
and
WI�REAS, It is to the economic advantage of the City to
foster and participate in the Winter Carniv�l; and
WHEREAS, Funds are available in the Miscellaneous and Un-
foreseen Fund, Activity 0954, for the payment of these expenses;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED� That the sum of $4,665.00 be paid from said Fund
to the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Association, Inc. , as reimbursement
for the payment of its obligations hereinabove mentioned.
